Senior UX Designer Security Clearance

Calling cleared UX Designers! Eleven Peppers is hiring a Senior UX Designer.

• Define interface requirements by collaborating with users and stakeholders.
• Collect and analyze user behaviors and needs through user research, including interviews, usability tests, and behavioral data.
• Design user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups that are intuitive and present a clear flow of information.
• Distinguish what users say from what they actually do or need (people can be fun puzzles).
• Collaborate with teammates that may include other designers, project managers, developers, engineers, and product champions.

• You have a bachelor’s degree in information systems, human factors engineering, or a related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Usability Engineering) and at least 10 years of experience (4 more years of experience can be substituted for a degree).
• You’ve mastered Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software to design sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and high‑fidelity mockups.
• You have familiarity with a prototyping tool such as Axure, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Your design sensibility is refined and purposeful, and the artifacts you create are beautiful and functional.
• Talking to users and soliciting their feedback is second nature, and you can articulate design concepts to a variety of audiences.
• You have a working knowledge of both qualitative discovery methods (usability testing, contextual inquiry) and quantitative data collection methods (surveys, analytics review, A/B testing, card sorting, tree testing, session observation).

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Salary: Salary range provided during the selection process. Exact pay will be determined based on individual factors that may include years of experience, contract requirements, billable vs. non‑billable, position urgency/demand, and location/telework options.
