Systems Administrator
Job Summary
Annapolis Junction, Maryland. This full-time, on-site role supports system and network administration for federal government contracts at Wyetech.
Position: QK Team / System/Network Administration
Primary responsibilities include providing support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems; managing IT infrastructure; and delivering Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- Manage daily configuration and operation activities of IT systems.
- Support client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices; monitor and resolve issues.
- Provide Tier I (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
- Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems; install and maintain operating system software; implement enhancements.
- Optimize system operations and perform capacity analysis and planning.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph are required.
Qualifications- TS/SCI clearance with agency‑appropriate polygraph.
- Five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five (5) years of additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Containers/Cloud environments
- Storage Management
- Virtualization
- IP networking and firewall experience
- All Linux (Bash, Shell)
- Solid understanding of PKI/TLS/crypto and related policies
- Experience with automation tools (bonus)
- Application support and general troubleshooting
- SSP compliance and STE/STN support on Linux systems

$39.33 – $118.30 per hour. Rates are general guidelines and may vary based on contract rates, education, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
