Eligibility and Qualifications
- Current TS clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- 13+ years of experience in systems or IT‑related roles, or a highly related field with equivalent scope and responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience;
Master’s degree for 6 years of experience. - Hands‑on experience with Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing Nexus Repository.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production environments.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration.
- Practice of infrastructure‑as‑code using Cloud Formation and/or Terraform.
- Automate deployment processes, manage artifact repositories, and orchestrate infrastructure upgrades across Windows Server environments while planning migration to AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and maintain Git Lab CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
- Manage Nexus Repository for artifact storage and dependency management.
- Develop infrastructure‑as‑code solutions for AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3) using Cloud Formation and Terraform.
- Build and maintain Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper in production environments.
- Administer Windows Server environments and coordinate infrastructure upgrades.
- Plan and execute migration strategies from on‑premises VMware to AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and related components.
- Develop containerization strategies for Java applications.
- Implement configuration management tools and practices.
- Apply security controls in both on‑premises VMware and AWS cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
