Daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews - Remove blockers:
Identify and eliminate obstacles preventing team progress - Shield the team:
Protect from external interruptions and scope changes mid-sprint - Coach stakeholders:
Guide product owners and teams on Agile principles - Track metrics:
Monitor velocity, burndown charts, and team health indicators
- Software development lifecycle knowledge
- Basic understanding of development tools and practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
- Conflict resolution and mediation
- Active listening and questioning techniques
- Clear, concise communication across all levels
- Deep Scrum framework knowledge (CSM/PSM certification) plus
- Understanding of Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile methodologies
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Servant leadership approach
- Emotional intelligence
- Team motivation without authority
- JIRA for issue tracking
- Confluence or similar for documentation
