Sr Performance Test Engineer

Job Description 7+ years in Performance testing

• Design, develop, and execute performance testing strategies (load, stress, endurance, spike testing) for healthcare applications.
• Analyze system performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve application scalability, stability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Dev Ops, Developers, and Product Owners to identify performance bottlenecks early in the SDLC.
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using tools such as Load Runner, JMeter,
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend solutions across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Monitor and analyze system behavior using tools like Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Splunk, or New Relic.
• Lead performance tuning efforts involving application servers, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Establish performance benchmarks and SLAs for healthcare applications.
• Mentor junior performance engineers and promote best practices in performance engineering.
• Drive shift-left performance testing and integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• 7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong experience in healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, claims processing, payer/provider systems).
• Expertise in performance testing tools such as:
• JMeter
• Neo Load
• Strong knowledge of protocols: HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP,True client
• Experience with monitoring and profiling tools (Dynatrace, App Dynamics, Perf Mon, ).
• Solid understanding of database performance tuning (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms ( Azure).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
