Overview
The Logistics Specialist II is responsible for supervising and performing management or warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts for the US Army.
Responsibilities- Perform analyses across multiple databases to develop a comprehensive overview of a program.
- Works with logisticians and PMs throughout the PEO to ensure each product is represented accurately within the Army enterprise.
- Briefs senior leaders on analytical findings, processes, and recommended courses of action from conceptual stages through divestiture of each program.
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents, such as inventory, material control, accounting, and supply reports.
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize, and store incoming supplies and equipment in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- Ensure supplies and equipment are stored correctly for each type of product.
- Construct bins, shelving, and other storage aids.
- Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.
- Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost, and parts data through improved maintenance management.
- Operate the Global Combat Support System‑Army, a logistics system used to track supplies, organizational equipment, and spare parts.
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum five (5) years of related work experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience using cPROBE (to include cQUIP, AE2S‑M, Tableau, and DRT), FMSWeb, and DST.
- Knowledge of applicable laws, DoD Instructions, and Army regulations and policies about logistical activities.
- Secret Clearance
Salary Range: $75,000 - $91,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
