LHH is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for procurement, sourcing, inventory planning, forecasting, logistics, transportation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a proven track record of building high-performing teams, and can drive operational excellence across the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities- Lead procurement, sourcing, planning, inventory management, logistics, and transportation activities.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, service levels, cost performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage supplier relationships and establish performance metrics, scorecards, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives throughout the supply chain organization.
- Oversee demand planning, scheduling, and material flow to support production and on-time customer delivery.
- Build, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and overall operational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in procurement, inventory planning, forecasting, logistics, and supplier management.
- Experience leading teams and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP, or similar) are highly preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven success developing teams and improving supply chain performance.
- Base annual salary rage of $125,000 - $150,000
