Position Summary
The Director of Supply Chain will lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, demand planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and third-party logistics. This hands-on leader will be responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels while building scalable processes to support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement, purchasing, demand planning, inventory, warehousing, transportation, and 3PL operations.
- Manage supply chain performance, budgets, KPIs, and customer service metrics.
- Oversee third-party logistics providers, warehousing partners, and transportation networks.
- Drive forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and operational controls.
- Support warehouse automation and distribution infrastructure initiatives.
- Lead supply chain involvement in ERP implementation and system transformation projects.
- Develop scalable processes, capabilities, and talent to support ongoing growth.
Qualifications
- Progressive supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, CPG, distribution, or related industries.
- Strong background in logistics, demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Experience managing third-party logistics and distribution networks.
- ERP system implementation expertise; SAP and/or Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
- Proven ability to operate independently, solve problems, and drive results in fast-paced environments.
- Food, perishables, cold storage, or temperature-controlled supply chain experience is highly preferred.
