Production Center Flow Inventory Associate

As a Frederick Production Center Flow Inventory Associate at Car Max, you'll support accurate, efficient movement of vehicles and parts through our retail production center. You will receive, verify, tag, and track vehicles, maintain inventory records, and support lot organization to ensure the right vehicles are in the right place on time. Working closely with sales and service teams, you'll help keep operations running smoothly, meet production timelines, and uphold Car Max's safety, quality, and integrity standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming vehicles and parts against documentation
• Tag, label, and track vehicles through the production workflow
• Update inventory systems with accurate, real-time data
• Organize and stage vehicles to support efficient production and sales flow
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Assist with vehicle moves, lot organization, and staging for reconditioning or sale
• Follow safety procedures and maintain an organized, hazard-free work area
• Coordinate with sales, service, and logistics teams to meet production timelines
• Support shipping, receiving, and documentation of vehicle transfers
• Report inventory, damage, or process issues to supervisors promptly
