Salary Range: $95,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience, project size, and leadership responsibility.
Position Overview: Warner Mechanical, a Division of R.W. Warner, Inc., is looking for a Project Manager (PM) to join their team! The Project Manager (PM) – Mechanical & Plumbing is responsible for the successful planning, execution, financial performance, and closeout of mechanical and plumbing construction projects. This role provides operational leadership to field teams, manages client relationships, directs subcontractors, and ensures projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution strategies from award through closeout
- Manage procurement, subcontractor buyouts, contract administration, and vendor coordination
- Oversee field operations, manpower planning, and coordination with superintendents and foremen
- Manage project financials, including job cost tracking, forecasting, change orders, billings, and profitability
- Conduct client meetings, resolve issues or disputes, and maintain strong customer relationships
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies
- Provide regular project status updates to leadership
- Train, mentor, and support Assistant Project Managers and Project Administrators
- Proven experience managing mechanical and/or plumbing construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, codes, and HVAC/plumbing systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction project management, scheduling, and job cost software
- Combination of office and jobsite environments
