Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, supervising a team of approximately 15 employees, and ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate handling of inventory, shipping, receiving, and storage activities. This role drives productivity, quality, and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and shipping
• Ensure accurate inventory control and timely order fulfillment
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing and priorities to meet daily volume requirements
• Maintain warehouse layout and space utilization for precise product rotation and inventory controls
• Supervise the flow of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure maximum efficiency
• Supervise, schedule, and lead warehouse staff across all shifts
• Train employees by providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to develop all members
• Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work culture
• Ensure proper staffing levels and cross-training coverage

• Enforce safety policies and OSHA/regulatory compliance standards as well as food safety standards
• Conduct regular safety meetings and warehouse inspections
• Ensure proper equipment operation and certification (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and damages
• Ensure proper product handling and storage conditions
• Implement process improvements to reduce errors and shrinkage

• Track KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, turnaround time, and labor efficiency
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and document these efforts
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and customer service teams

• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics experience
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems
• Experience with WMS / ERP systems
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving ability
• Clear communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse software

• Warehouse environment with standing, walking, and lifting requirements
• May require flexible hours, weekends, or peak season overtime
• Exposure to varying temperatures to include cold storage warehouse
