IT Project Manager
Position Summary
The Kenjya‑Trusant Group is looking for a Master Scheduler responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrated project schedules to support the successful execution and timely delivery of program objectives.
Essential Job Functions- Create and maintain detailed project schedules using advanced scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Ensure schedules are aligned with project milestones, deadlines, and resource availability.
- Coordinate and allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Work closely with project managers and team leads to balance workloads and address resource constraints.
- Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular schedule risk assessments and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on schedule status, progress, and any changes.
- Facilitate meetings with project teams to review schedules and address any issues.
- Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of schedules and related communications.
- Provide guidance and support to junior schedulers and project team members.
- Mentor and train team members on scheduling best practices and tools.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required due to the nature of this position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of 5‑7 years of experience in scheduling and managing complex projects.
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
- Extensive DoD (preferably NSA) experience.
- Proactive with excellent communication skills for a high‑visibility program.
- Experience in defense, intelligence, or federal projects.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- PMP or similar certification.
- Certification in scheduling (e.g., Certified Associate in Project Management Scheduling).
The proposed salary range for this position is $85,000 – $200,000. Compensation is influenced by location, contract category, experience, skills, education, and certifications.
