Chief Financial Management NF

Position: Chief Financial Management NF-04.

Duties

• Develops policies and procedures, and monitors the use of appropriated and nonappropriated fund resources impacting MWR activities.
• Serves as principal financial advisor to NAF managers as directed.
• Develops and implements plans and policies for use of resources.
• Formulates and maintains a system of internal management controls. Establishes policies, plans, procedures, reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established controls.
• Supervises assigned staff.

Requirements Conditions of employment

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.
  2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Environmental requirements, licenses, background checks, etc.
• OGE Financial Disclosure Required.

Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

Work experience which includes:

• interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems;
• interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; AND
• applying commercial budgeting techniques. Supervisory experience directing technical and professional financial management operations.

PCS Costs

• Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.

Allowances and Differentials

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
