Director, Multifamily Asset Management Program Manager Sr. II

The Director of Multifamily Asset Management is a senior leadership position within the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development's Division of Credit Assurance. This role oversees a team responsible for monitoring the physical and financial condition of multifamily affordable housing projects, conducting compliance reviews, analyzing risk, and managing loan workouts and enforcement activities. The director reports to the DCA Deputy Director and provides strategic guidance on asset management, mortgage insurance programs, and divisional administration.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• At least four years of experience in underwriting, credit analysis, servicing, compliance, asset management or risk mitigation at a state or Federal housing agency or lending institution
• At least two years in a management, supervisory, or leadership capacity
• Experience underwriting or asset managing commercial loans or multifamily affordable housing projects
• Experience with Federal affordable housing programs such as Risk-Sharing, HOME, USDA Rural Development, LIHTC, Section 8
