Procurement Specialist at Syntax Talent Solutions located in Frederick, Maryland.

$60,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr (based on experience and skills).

• Develop and manage procurement strategies aligned with the STULZ business model.
• Execute sourcing and negotiation processes to secure cost‑effective and quality materials.
• Expedite orders and resolve issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to maintain high standards of customer service and teamwork.
• Analyze and interpret engineering specifications and drawings/prints.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using SAP and MRP systems.
• Utilize analytical skills and Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, to manage data and reporting.
• Adapt to a dynamic work environment, managing multiple tasks and changing priorities effectively.

• BS or BA degree in a related field (preferred); 2‑4 years of procurement experience required.
• High level of commitment to customer service and teamwork.
• Experience with SAP (preferred) and MRP (must).
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, expediting, interpersonal, cost analysis, and problem resolution skills.
• Detail‑oriented with comprehensive understanding of engineering specifications and drawings/prints.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Basic math skills required.

• Ability to sit, stand, use hands to finger, reach with hands and arms, stoop, and talk or hear regularly.
• Frequently required to walk.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
