Position: Manufacturing Tech (Frederick, MD)
PMI Overview:

Quantic PMI defines and manufactures mission-critical electronic components for the aerospace and defense industry, as well as commercial and industrial markets. Principal product lines include RF/microwave components.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities Include:

• Assemble, solder and surface mount RF/microelectronics boards under a microscope, while ensuring all parts are fitted correctly.
• Reading and confirming the bill of materials, interpreting drawings, and verifying correct specifications.
• Meet weekly assembly production goals set by supervisor.
• Keep a clean workspace to adhere to ESD safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while sitting for extended periods of time.
• Ability to read assembly prints and component lists is required.
• Ability to use hand tools and machinery.
• High attention to detail and can work with minimal supervision.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED minimum.

Experience:

• 1 to 5 years preferred.
