Cell Therapy Technician

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Cell Therapy Technician for an Onsite position with a Leading Biotechnology Company located in Frederick, MD. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This position joins a newly formed Cell Therapy Manufacturing team at a state-of-the-art commercial facility with the common goal of curing cancer. The Cell Therapy Technician will perform and verify all tasks associated with the manufacturing of commercial products, following batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and compliant operations in close collaboration with Materials Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.

Please note:

For the first 8-10 weeks of the assignment, all contractors are required to work Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM to complete New Hire Orientation and Manufacturing Onboarding Technical Training. After training is successfully completed, the contractor will be deployed onto their assigned shift. This is a full-time 4/10 role, and shifts can change with the needs of the department.

Once deployed to a shift, employees are considered "essential" and will work their respective shifts during company holidays/shutdowns.

Responsibilities:

• Successfully troubleshoot processing and equipment issues while communicating said issues to management
• Complete required training assignments to maintain necessary technical skills and knowledge and to ensure compliance with cGMP requirements
• Routinely monitor, clean, prepare and operate sophisticated automated cell processing, cell expansion and filling equipment in Grade B/C clean rooms
• Find opportunities for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance while assisting with investigations/deviations and change controls
• Ability to wear a respirator during use of certain cleaning chemicals

Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience with a High School Diploma
• 0+ years of related experience with an Associate s Degree

Pay range: up to $34.74 per hour
