Salary Range: $20.23 To $24.72 Hourly

EDCO Fabrication on Spires Way in Frederick, Maryland is hiring a CNC Laser Operator to join our team!

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm.

Good attendance is paramount to being successful in this role.

• Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and support the production team by operating machinery as instructed by supervisors.
• Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
• Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities.
• Unload and Load Steel Truck.
• Other duties as assigned.

Incumbent shall have a High School diploma or GED and solid background working with sheet metal and tooling and tool maintenance. Ability to read a tape measure.

• Ability to lift heavy items as required.
• Stand for 8 hours per day.
• Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually, or using hoist.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel, Stainless Steel, Copper and Brass.
• Basic shop math skills and the ability to read parts prints.
• Ability to keep work area clean and organized.
• Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
