THIS IS A NIGHT-SHIFT POSITION (4pm - 2am)

This non-exempt position performs maintenance on quarry plants.

• Welding, repair and fabrication on rock crushing equipment associated with a quarry operation.
• Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequently requires the ability to sit, talk and hear. Frequently requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Requires following specific types of vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Field settings. Conditions may include moderate to high noise levels, exposure to mechanical parts, high/precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, vibration, wet and/or humid (non-weather) conditions, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, work with explosives and vibration.

Hourly Range: $22.00 - $27.00 based on experience.

• Must possess 3-5 years of related experience, but does not have to be industry specific.
• Welding certification is preferred.
