Material​/Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging and supplying materials (raw, work‑in‑process and finished goods), parts and supplies, to operators, workstations and distribution center.
• May prepare goods for shipment to the distribution center.
• Complete all necessary SAP training to obtain the required profiles.
• May be responsible for ordering required materials from outside vendors and for offloading all deliveries from outside vendors, including goods receipts.
• Physically locate the materials in the warehouse and then perform transactions in SAP to record their location.
• Perform bin‑to‑bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to the PSA’s.
• Hand‑load carts, racks, equipment and deliver to production areas.
• Run Material Staging in SAP.
• May evaluate all production schedules and determine materials needed from outside vendors.
• Maintain required levels of materials in the various PSA’s.
• Demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Follow all BD housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Follow all BD safety policies and procedures.
• Be able to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements.

• Minimum requirement:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Employment is contingent upon providing proof of full COVID‑19 vaccination, as required by the Company.
