Job Description

Position:
Linux System Administrator / Engineer (Annapolis Junction, MD)

This position is part of an operations support team responsible for dataflow implementation, including transitions from legacy to modern systems and monitoring of implemented data flows. The engineer will perform system administration, container orchestration, security scanning, performance monitoring, and incident response.

• Linux system administration
• Kubernetes
• Docker/podman
• Running security scans
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues with Elastic products such as Grafana and Kibana
• Jira for workflow management (ticketing)
• Confluence for documentation and artifact sharing
• Provisioning virtual machine resources
• TPAM for account management
• Planned and unplanned outage coordination
• CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
  
  TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
• Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship

• Windows system administration

• A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience, OR
• A High School Diploma or GED plus twenty-four (24) years of general systems engineering experience (any Process Area)
