Job Summary
Glia Cell Technologies is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer for a full‑time position supporting a U.S. Government customer. The role involves sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems on a large government contract.
Responsibilities- Support the development lifecycle of platform architectural design, deployment, and debugging.
- Build a release pipeline to enable fast but safe delivery of critical business software to production.
- Develop and maintain version control best practices, including branching and merging strategies (GIT).
- Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, product demonstration, retrospectives).
- Automate release deployments across development, test, staging, quality assurance, and production stacks using scripting languages and automation toolkits.
- Active or reinstate‑able TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Minimum ten (10) years of related engineering experience (excludes education). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- AWS (ECS, EKS) with DOD implementation experience.
- Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure automation.
- Kafka.
- Java.
- NiFi.
- PostgreSQL.
- Fluent with Git.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL 7/8, RHCS, RHCE, CentOS).
- Experience with Windows system administration and performance monitoring.
- 10+ years in an Agile development environment.
- Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment.
- Experience with caching technologies (Memcache, ActiveMQ, Redis, APC, etc.), MySQL clustering/replication, Elasticsearch (Kibana a plus).
- Knowledge of security practices, networking protocols, firewalls, PCI compliance, etc.

Salary Range$170,000 to $260,000. Sign‑on bonus eligible.
