Material Handler, Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
Perform material handling duties including operating equipment for product receiving, disbursement, inventory checks, and other basic inventory management functions.
Responsibilities- Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks as well as customer pickups as needed.
- Ensure inventory items are counted, rotated and replenished daily and all procedures are followed.
- Stock and inventory products on carts or within assigned areas and manage par levels.
- Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
- Receive inbound materials, mark materials with identifying information, record quantity received, sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins per predetermined sequence such as size, color, type, or product code.
- Arrange materials for order assembly.
- Perform quality control, move carts between loading docks, and operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist customers while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Perform housekeeping duties including onsite cleanup.
- 1 to 3 months of related work or training.
- Ability to read and communicate in English.
- Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
- Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.
- High sense of urgency and ability to meet physical requirements of the position.
- High school diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a hospital environment.
Anticipated hourly salary range: $18.75 - $27.25.
