Relief Operator- 2nd Shift

Overview

General

Purpose:

Perform job duties within the cooler/warehouse environment to provide relief for planned (vacation, breaks) and unexpected absences, to ensure the receiving, storing and distribution of product efficiently and accurately.

• Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers
• Monitor product, materials, and equipment to ensure items are readily available
• Rotate stock according to code dates to ensure first-in, first-out rotation
• Complete any task assigned due to vacancy within the department
• Record movement of stock in and out of work area

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
• Certification and/or License - forklift certification and Class A or Class B driver's license, as required

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
• Able to effectively work in a team environment
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
