Production Supervisor

A growing manufacturing organization in the Frederick, MD area is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop hourly production employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Oversee daily production activities and ensure schedules are met efficiently.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture on the production floor.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support production objectives.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with staffing, training, performance management, and employee development activities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proven ability to motivate, engage, and develop production teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing production schedules and meeting operational targets.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization methodologies is preferred.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
