Unit Wire Technician

We are seeking a skilled Unit Wire Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for wiring, assembling, and integrating electrical components, subassemblies, products, and systems according to engineering specifications and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with soldering, electrical wiring, reading blueprints, and working with hand tools in a production or manufacturing environment.

This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical wiring experience
  • Experience with soldering and electrical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical pictorial diagrams, and ladder diagrams
  • Experience working from written work instructions and customer specifications
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools
  • Ability to identify electrical components and wire sizes
  • Understanding of basic control systems and relay logic
  • Manufacturing or production environment experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic refrigeration principles is a plus
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, wire, and integrate components, subassemblies, products, and systems according to specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical pictorial diagrams, ladder diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
  • Follow written work instructions, customer specifications, and manufacturing procedures
  • Perform soldering and wiring tasks while maintaining quality standards
  • Utilize hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively
  • Identify and install electrical components and select appropriate wire sizes
  • Troubleshoot and verify wiring connections as needed
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area
  • Meet productivity and quality expectations within established time frames
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
