Job Description:
General Labor Services is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Cabinet Assembler & Picker to join our manufacturing team.
Duties for Cabinet Assembler
:
- Assemble cabinets and related furniture components according to schematics, blueprints, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to meet company standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during assembly processes
- Assist with modifications or repairs as needed, including fixture installation, door hanging, or siding work
Duties for Picker
:
- Pick cabinets, countertops, hardware, and related materials according to order tickets.
- Verify product quantities, dimensions, and specifications before staging orders.
- Organize and prepare customer orders for shipping or delivery.
- Load and unload trucks safely.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
- Work with warehouse supervisors, drivers, and production teams to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, order picking, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to read order forms and inventory labels accurately.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, nail guns, saws, and measuring tools.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and quality standards
Scheduled Monday-Friday 6:00 am-4:00 pm
Pay Rate $17.00-$18.00 DOE
