Food Manufacturing and Quality Control (Production Cook) | Temp-to-Hire
$20.00 - $22.00 per Hour + Benefits, Bonus Potential & Profit Sharing
Are you experienced in food manufacturing, food processing, or large-batch production and looking for an opportunity to grow into a skilled production role?
We're seeking a dependable, detail-oriented employee to join a family-owned food manufacturer. This is a mid-level,
full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity
with a clear path into a permanent Production Cook position, where you'll operate large steam kettles and follow recipes used to produce preserves, jellies, sauces, and other specialty products.
- Train on filling, packaging, and other production stations
- Learn to operate large steam-jacketed kettles
- Follow recipes and production procedures precisely
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
- Monitor product quality, pH, and production specifications
- Complete production records
- Clean equipment and prepare for upcoming production runs
- Support other departments during downtime between batches
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, food processing, production, or large-batch preparation (strongly preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable following recipes and procedures exactly as written
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a hot, humid manufacturing environment
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
- $20.00-$22.00 per hour

* This role is located on the second floor of the facility and requires climbing stairs, standing for extended periods, and wearing required PPE, including steel-toed shoes and hair restraints.
