A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to lead production planning activities across a complex, custom manufacturing environment. This position plays a critical role in balancing customer demand, material availability, and production capacity to ensure products are delivered on time while maintaining operational efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing- Develop and maintain a master production schedule that aligns demand forecasts with manufacturing capacity.
- Coordinate closely with operations, procurement, customer-facing teams, and production leadership to support business objectives.
- Analyze capacity constraints and recommend scheduling adjustments to optimize throughput and delivery performance.
- Utilize ERP and planning systems to manage schedules, routings, lead times, and material requirements.
- Monitor key performance metrics and provide visibility into production progress, inventory levels, and scheduling performance.
- Participate in planning meetings and help drive continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling and operations.
- Several years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, material planning, and production workflows.
- Experience working within ERP/MRP systems.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
- Experience supporting custom, engineered, or made-to-order manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
