Movement ’s Stopping Drunk Driving in Frederick County - Designated Driver

Overview

The organization addresses impaired driving through education initiatives, rehabilitation, victim relief, and prevention programs. Having now already prevented over 15,000 DUI offenses to date, our aim is to reduce drunk driving deaths to zero.

Evening Designated Drivers Needed! – Frederick County loves to volunteer, but they want to do something that matters — not just sign up for another event, but actually impact our community directly, maybe even save a life. With The Safe Ride Foundation, you can help save lives while volunteering easily, and in good company. Join our evening volunteer team at The Safe Ride Foundation, where you’ll serve as a designated driver for local residents who’ve had too much to drink.

You’ll help get both the person and their car home safely; preventing DUIs, crashes, and tragedies before they happen. Since our inception in 2015, we’ve been pleased to have prevented over 19,000 DUI incidents and have been named one of Frederick County’s most impactful volunteer programs. You’ll be part of an award-winning team that makes an immediate, measurable difference in your community every single night - and we’d love to have you!
