Job Description
Pay: $55 - $61/hour depending on experience
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Addictions RN to join our team at Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Addictions Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
- Associate's degree required
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in a community or correctional based substance abuse clinic.
- Certified Addictions RN
- This person conducts nursing practices and procedures relative to substance use addiction services/medicine.
- Provides direct patient care to individuals with substance abuse issues and addiction.
- Familiar with substance use, treatment modalities and detoxification protocols.
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available shift: full time, days, 40 hours/week
