Position: Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) – Days
Location: Hospital for Behavioral Medicine, Worcester, MA 01606
Job Type: Full Time
Shift: Days
Compensation: $45.00 – $55.00 hourly (including shift differentials)

• Ensure coordinated delivery of patient care to meet standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy.
• Supervise staff assigned to the shift.
• Implement unit policies and procedures and serve as a resource for staff.
• Maintain unit compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state, and regulatory standards and patient rights.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and develop improvement plans.
• Assist in developing staffing schedules based on patient needs.
• Coordinate legal processes for patients and maintain accuracy.
• Implement Infection Control, Safety, and Risk Management policies consistently.
• Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment planning offered by Nursing Services.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing or possess equivalent education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Currently licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
• Thorough knowledge of Joint Commission, CMA, HCFA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
• CPR certification and completion of CPI training within 30 days of employment.
• Prior experience assisting in restraining procedures.
