UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located in Bel Air, MD.

• Position will manage and treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension (PH) and other conditions of the lung.
• Inpatient and outpatient-based position
• Collaborative, supportive team comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, pulmonary function technicians, medical assistants and administrative support staff.
• Adult gerontology, primary care, or acute care certified NP’s preferred.
• Physician Assistants (PA-C) are welcome to apply.

Education and Experience

• Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in urgent care or emergency medicine required
• DEA and CDS eligible.
