Licensed Practical Nurse - PRN

Simpson is a not‑for‑profit family of senior‑care services located in Jenners Pond, West Grove, PA. We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our assisted‑living and personal‑care team.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician in accordance with Simpson’s medication administration policy.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning and dressing wounds.
• Document changes in residents’ health status and report any concerns to the AL/PC Administrator.
• Provide in‑dwelling catheter care occasionally when needed.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of residents.
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate resident records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other health‑care professionals.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures related to resident care and safety.
• Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining resident care plans as necessary.
• Participate in continuing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with nursing practices through Relias on‑line training as required under PA Regulations on an annual basis.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse training program.
• Current Pennsylvania LPN license with no judgments or disciplinary actions.
• CPR, First Aid certifications; AED certification preferred.
• At least 1 year experience working as an LPN in long‑term care; experience in a memory care facility preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and health‑care providers.
• Ability to work as a team member and follow directions.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and respond appropriately.
