Urgent Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Dunkirk, MD

Seeking a compassionate, efficient Family Nurse Practitioner to provide acute care in a fast‑paced urgent care environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Manage episodic and chronic conditions with walk‑ins and same‑day appointments as the sole advanced practice provider for ages 2 and up.
  • Perform minor office procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, orthopedic splinting, and related treatments.
  • Perform physicals such as sports, DOT, pre‑employment, and annual.
  • Evaluate patients for workers’ compensation injuries.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Master’s degree (Family Nurse Practitioner) and appropriate state license required.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood‑borne pathogens, and related compliance standards.
  • Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competent with common PC applications, Microsoft Office, and EMR applications.
  • Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, and physicals.
  • Respect and autonomy in decision‑making.
  • Team‑based approach to patient care.
  • ACLS/BLS certifications.
Compensation

Hourly Rate: $55.00 - $84.00 per hour (exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location).
