OverviewLabor & Delivery Nurse - Night Shift — 13-week contract position in Frederick, MD.
Schedule:
Night shift - 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).

This position is in Labor & Delivery, with care provided in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum settings. The unit offers a balanced suburban lifestyle, conveniently located close to both Baltimore and Washington DC.
Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care in Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum units.
- Engage in antepartum and postpartum cross-training to enhance patient care.
- Utilize active fetal monitoring techniques and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols regarding patient care and safety.
- 3 years of current and strong Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Antepartum, and Postpartum experience required.
- Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) preferred.
- Active fetal monitoring certification (C-EFM) required at the time of submission.
- BLS certification required.
- Maryland/Compact nursing license in hand, no exceptions.
- Travel experience is required.
