Looking for a nursing role where your skills truly shine—without nights, weekends, or on-call stress? Join our close-knit surgical team as a Pre-Op / PACU Registered Nurse, where you’ll play a hands-on role in guiding patients through every stage of their surgical journey. In this fast-paced yet supportive outpatient environment, you’ll combine clinical expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate care to ensure patients feel informed, safe, and comfortable before and after their procedures—all while enjoying a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll DoProvide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pre-operative and post-operative patients
Monitor patients recovering from general, regional, or local anesthesia
Obtain and document complete nursing histories and assessments
Closely monitor vital signs and patient status, identifying and reporting any changes
Administer medications safely and accurately
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, families, and care team members
Supervise and support non-licensed clinical staff as needed
Maintain accurate documentation in medical records
Support a teamwork-based environment with opportunities for cross-training
Follow all nursing standards, state regulations, and center policies
What We’re Looking For Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employmentBLS and ACLS certifications required2+ PACU, pre-op, or perioperative experience preferred PALS and/or CNOR certification a plus
