Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Oncology

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring chemotherapy certification and experience with chest tubes in a specialized oncology/surgical unit.

Job Details

• Work in a 12-bed inpatient unit specializing in Oncology, Thoracic, and Bariatric surgery,

• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Typical patient ratio of 1:4, may increase to 1:5 depending on acuity,

• Rotating holiday and weekend coverage required (every other weekend),

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Floating required as needed to Med/Surg/Telemetry units,

• Chemotherapy administration and chest tube management performed on this unit,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Chemotherapy certification required,

• Prior oncology nursing experience required,

• Experience with chest tubes required,

• Two professional references required for consideration,

• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration,

• 13-week travel contract,
