Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse

Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Night 3x12-Hour Shift (19:00 - 07:30) with rotating holidays and weekends.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum. The facility features modern labor and delivery rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, where the focus is on comfort, safety, and family-centered care for an exceptional birthing experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Conduct assessments and monitor fetal heart rates
• Assist with labor management and delivery
• Provide education and support to expectant mothers and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years of strong Labor & Delivery RN experience
• OB Triage experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• Active fetal monitoring certification required (C-EFM preferred, AWHONN Intermediate accepted with C-EFM obtained if extended contract)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
