Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide quality obstetric care in a dynamic facility. The role involves supporting patients through childbirth and postpartum recovery, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and families.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric care to patients from 20 weeks gestation through postpartum period.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced fetal monitoring equipment.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures in a modern, well-equipped unit.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Possess OB Triage experience and previous travel nursing experience.
• Hold an active Maryland RN license or Compact license at submission.
• Maintain current fetal monitoring certification such as C-EFM or AWHONN Intermediate (C-EFM required for contract extensions).
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in obstetric and maternal health care.
