American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with OB Triage experience and prior travel nursing experience for a night shift assignment requiring an active fetal monitoring certification.
Requirements- Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum 3 years of current Labor & Delivery RN experience
- OB Triage experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Active fetal monitoring certification required: C-EFM preferred, or AWHONN Intermediate accepted (C-EFM required if contract extends to 1 year or more from initial start date)
- Labor & Delivery Unit providing comprehensive obstetric care for patients from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum
- Department includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, an OB Triage Unit, OB Operating Rooms, and OB PACU
- Recently expanded unit with five new Labor & Delivery rooms featuring modern equipment and technology
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
- Rotating holidays and weekends required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care in a family-centered birthing environment
- Travelers must work two of the three winter holidays
- Located in Frederick, Maryland, close to Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
