About the Role

At Sri Sai Biopharmaceutical Solutions (SBS), our Packaging & Labeling Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring that all packaging and labeling activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with cGMP, FDA, and company standards.

This position oversees daily packaging and labeling operations within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment, ensuring product identification, documentation integrity, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong attention to detail, a commitment to compliance, and the ability to motivate teams in a fast‑paced operational setting.

By supporting operational excellence and product quality, you will directly contribute to SBS’s mission of delivering life‑saving pharmaceutical solutions with integrity and precision.

What You’ll Do

Packaging & Labeling Oversight

  • Supervise daily packaging and labeling activities to ensure compliance with batch records, SOPs, and labeling controls.
  • Verify products are packaged and labeled accurately according to cGMP and FDA requirements.
  • Review and approve line clearances, equipment logs, and documentation.
  • Oversee sample aliquoting, pipetting, and aseptic techniques when required.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve deviations, discrepancies, or non-conformances.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, train, and mentor Packaging & Labeling Associates to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
  • Assign daily tasks, monitor workloads, and verify completion of required quality checks.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct routine team meetings and reinforce SBS RICE values and operational expectations.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate cGMP documentation including batch records, label issuance logs, and reconciliation records.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with FDA, EMA, and internal quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and operational support.
  • Partner with QA on deviations, investigations, and CAPA activities.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize department processes.
  • Support Lean and 5S initiatives within the department.
  • Collaborate with Operations to improve workflow efficiency and organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with QA, Inventory, Shipping, and Receiving teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Coordinate with HR and Operations leadership to ensure training compliance and workforce readiness.
  • Support inventory accuracy, material reconciliation, and department coordination initiatives.

  • Packaging and labeling activities completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
  • Zero critical audit findings related to packaging and labeling activities.
  • Strong documentation compliance and record accuracy.
  • High team engagement, accountability, and operational efficiency.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in packaging, labeling, or operational support within a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP, GDP, FDA labeling requirements, and documentation practices.
  • Familiarity with label reconciliation, batch tracking systems, and ERP software.
  • Experience with aliquoting, pipetting, and aseptic techniques preferred.
  • Exposure to Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, compliance-driven environment.
