The Fountain Group is currently seeking a -------Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in --Frederick, MD. Details for the position are as follows:

Title: Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support

Location: Frederick, MD (100% Onsite)

Pay: $21.90/hr

Duration: 1 Year

The Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support is responsible for supporting QC laboratory operations through sample management, documentation review, sample processing, storage, and shipment activities. This role ensures proper handling and tracking of materials used for release testing, stability testing, and retain programs while maintaining compliance with GMP and regulated laboratory requirements.

• Sample receipt, processing, aliquoting, storage, and inventory management

• Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

• Sample chain of custody and laboratory documentation management

• Coordination of internal and external laboratory sample transfers

• Shipping and logistics support for laboratory samples

• Experience working in Quality Control or biopharmaceutical laboratories

• Knowledge of GMP requirements in a regulated laboratory environment

• Record review, logbook management, and laboratory documentation practices

• Experience in FDA-regulated laboratory environments

• Investigation and deviation support within Quality Control operations

• Stability and release testing sample management

• Operational Excellence or Lean Lab experience

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio, and laboratory-related software systems
