Automation Test Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tosca Automation Tester with 2–7 years of experience in software testing and automation, preferably within the Health Insurance domain
. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in Tricentis Tosca automation, strong knowledge of healthcare payer processes, and experience testing applications such as Tru Care
. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of healthcare applications.

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing needs.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure testing activities comply with healthcare industry standards and organizational quality processes.
• Prepare test execution reports and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Support production validation and post‑release testing activities as needed.

• 2–7 years of experience in Software Testing/QA.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Tricentis Tosca Automation.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and test automation best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Healthcare/Health Insurance domain experience is required.
• Understanding of:
  • Member enrollment and eligibility
  • Claims processing
  • Care management
  • Utilization management
  • Case management
  • Provider and member workflows

• Certification in Tricentis Tosca (preferred).
• Experience with API testing and database validation.
• Knowledge of SQL and healthcare data models.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure Dev Ops.

• Experience with CI/CD integration.
• Exposure to HL7, EDI, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, or Commercial Health Plans.
