Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for a Viral Immunology Lead Technical Support to support the members rick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000.

Responsibilities- Provide support with laboratory experiments in BSL-2, BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories and maintain BPRP status as required.
- Work with controlled substances and maintain CS-PRP status as required.
- Aid in execution of scientific studies, basic cell culture, plaque assays, PCR and other assays, animal procedures, data analysis, and preparation of technical reports, SOPs, and manuscripts.
- Serve as BSL-3 and/or BSL-4 mentor as needed.
- Travel within CONUS/OCONUS may be required in support of approved studies and/or presentation of scientific research.
- Prepare and participate in BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory inspections conducted by Safety, Bio-surety, CDC, and/or Department of Army Inspector General at least four times a year.
- Support 1-3 Non-human Primate studies and 40-50 rodent studies per year, coordinate all study activities, prepare required documents, perform inoculations, tissue collection, bleedings, CBC, general chemistries, coagulation assays, and other clinical laboratory assays.
- Perform basic cell culture, plaque assays, plaque reduction neutralization test, PCR, and other assays to support Non-human Primate and rodent studies; workload approximately 650 plates/assays per month.
- Perform in vitro testing of candidate vaccines and therapeutic compounds against a variety of viruses; may use 100-200 plates/assays per month.
- Perform immunological procedures including ELISA and Western blot assays; may perform 150 assays per month.
- Proficient in flow cytometric analysis of cellular populations independently on multiple flow cytometry machines in BSL-3 and BSL-4 laboratories; approximately 100 tubes/samples per month.
- Responsible for assessing and maintaining laboratory supplies in BSL-2, BSL-3, and BSL-4 laboratories; anticipated workload 15-20 orders per month.
- Provide the TPOC a Research Technical Report no later than the last day of each week.
- Accountable for management, safeguard and storage of BSAT, animal tissue samples, and working stock samples; maintain records and communicate to the FSAP‑registered PI as required.
- Perform technical literature searches and assist in the preparation of proposals, technical reports, and manuscripts for publication; may present work at approximately one scientific meeting per year requiring travel.
- Perform basic and specialized molecular biology techniques including PCR, qRT‑PCR, DNA preparations, purification, cloning, transformations, FISH, flow cytometry, IFAs, high‑content imaging, and other assays.
- CS‑PRP enrollment is required and will be maintained as required.
- BPRP enrollment is required and will be maintained as required.

Job Requirements- A minimum of a Master’s degree.
- At least 8 years of laboratory‑related experience.
- Ability to work under deadline pressure, handle stress and deliver professional results.
- Long hours and weekends may be required to meet deliverables.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated with minimal oversight.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Some travel may be required.
- Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, per contract requirements.
