R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc. has openings for durational Field Director. This position will require travel for which single occupancy lodging and per diem reimbursements of $45 per day will be provided.

• Follow direction from Project Management and Operations Personnel to execute archaeological field work within a project area and complete documentation of the field efforts undertaken;

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field required; a Master's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in cultural resource management, with field supervisory experience required
• Completed an accredited archaeological field school
• Proficiency in archaeological field methods, GPS mapping and artifact handling
• Knowledge of local, state and federal cultural resource laws and guidelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with others and be a proactive part of a project team
• Detailed note taking skills
• A valid driver's license

This position is a durational appointment, ending upon completion of the project. The hourly pay rate is $18.00 - $21.00
