Retail Sales Lead – Rockville, MD
As a Retail Sales Lead for our Rockville, MD territory, you will collaborate with retail partners and our account teams while growing your territory by selling our delicious brands. This role will be onsite in the retail stores, Local and National Grocery, in your territory Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a compelling selling story and execute strategic business plans with excellence, partner with key stakeholders and leverage analytics tools (Excel, PowerPoint) to lead successful negotiations.
- Deliver on key metrics such as POS budget, call coverage and maintaining a “perfect shelf” strategy.
- Implement creative ideas and innovative solutions to overcome roadblocks and selling within the grocery landscape.
- Build and maintain relationships with in‑store partners and drive on‑site strategies to drive business results.
- High school diploma or equivalent; fundamental technology skills such as Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong sense of independence and self‑motivation, consistently deliver results by strategically managing a portfolio of businesses with operational discipline and growth‑focused insight.
- Team‑oriented collaborator who builds strong in‑store relationships, maintaining a consistent field presence by driving to and working in retail locations five days a week.
- Advanced problem‑solving abilities, persuasive influencing and negotiation skills, along with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; vehicle required for daily work.
- Daily work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending, or carrying moderately heavy items (20‑25 lbs) and may include potential night, weekend, overnight, and early morning hours.
The annual salary range is $65,000 – $70,000. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
