Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Produce Manager, Meat Supervisor, Front End Manager, Front End Supervisor, Closing Supervisor
Assist in maintaining a clean, well‑presented store environment while pricing, stocking, rotating merchandise and providing friendly, efficient checkout service. Perform other duties as directed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies.
Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of presentation and cleanliness while pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Provide accurate, friendly and efficient checkout service, scanning items, collecting payment and providing correct change.
- Perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain department sanitation and QA standards, including cleaning and sanitizing all work surfaces, utensils, equipment, sweeping, mopping, removing cardboard and trash, and operating baler or compactor.
- Check products received against an invoice.
- Use a slicing machine and related equipment where applicable.
- Prepare and replenish products for sale in applicable departments.
- Operate equipment safely with all safeguards in place.
- Comply with store rules, company policies, safety requirements, security standards, and all local, state and federal regulations.
- Dress according to company policy (white shirt, black pants, apron, name badge).
- Comply with QA hand washing standards and use disposable gloves when handling unpackaged foods.
- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
- Follow approved procedures for receiving, code dating, preparing, storing, and price marking, scaling, and restocking products.
- Control freshness, quality, and temperature of product following safe food handling procedures.
- Operate cash register and follow all cash handling procedures.
- Accurately identify and scan product under correct department, process payments, and provide proper change.
- Handle damaged or return-to-stock products according to company policy.
- Adhere to HAZCOM program and manufacturer’s label instructions for safe use of chemicals.
- Check refrigeration equipment for performance regularly; report failures immediately.
- Remove trash to designated area and operate baler.
- Complete price changes as directed by department manager.
- Utilize and maintain equipment as required; report problems immediately.
- Complete all applicable department training programs.
- Retrieve carts from the parking lot.
- Possess ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and occasionally 75 lbs.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, and interpreting English.
- Basic math skills and ability to make change with all denominations of American currency.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift 25 lbs, and occasionally lift 75 lbs.
- Adherence to all local, state, and federal health and civil code regulations.
- Operator of equipment such as case cutter and U-Boats.
- Deliver superior customer service while maintaining a neat, well‑groomed appearance and observing dress code policies.
- Experience working with fresh, dried, and processed products, spices, and powdered substances without negative allergic consequences.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures from cold to hot.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, climb ladders to retrieve items from overhead racking, and meet all work schedules, complying with all time and attendance policies.
Part‑time work hours: 12‑25 hours per week, with flexible scheduling including days, evenings, and weekends. Training: paid; complete all core components within the first 30 days.

Must be 18 years old or older to operate balers, hi‑los, power jacks, slicing machines.
