Position Summary
Member Services Associate provides member service, maintains the checkout area, and resolves member issues and concerns. They promote the company's products and services, support members with self‑service technology, process purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies, and ensure compliance with safety standards and security procedures. The associate conducts safety sweeps, corrects unsafe situations, maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership cards, assists with purchasing decisions, locates merchandise, organizes merchandise, assists members with transporting items, maintains a safe shopping environment, and logs required documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Handle member purchases, returns, refunds, and exchanges
- Maintain checkout, entrance, and exit areas
- Conduct safety sweeps and report unsafe situations
- Verify membership cards and identify member needs
- Assist with purchasing decisions and merchandise location
- Arrange and organize merchandise to zone the area
- Execute emergency response procedures and report incidents
- Document paperwork, logs, and other required records
- Assist in training new associates on company processes and procedures
- Deliver new program rollout training and continuous learning opportunities
- Promote company values of integrity, teamwork, customer focus, and excellence

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation may include premiums up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum Qualifications- Retail experience, including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register)
- Experience working with mobile retail applications
- Additional retail experience and technology proficiency
- Training and coaching experience
- Strong customer service skills and ability to promote products
