Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They work independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of customers and support the overall store operations.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly.
• Visual acuity sufficient for viewing a computer terminal and performing visual inspection of small parts/details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).

Pay Range: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (base rate). The actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
